Kuomaboulder 8.11.2025
The already legendary Kuomaboulder climbing competition for kids is here! Come and try out competition climbing - and above all come and have fun!
Boulderkeskus in cooperation with BK Climbers organizes the Kuomaboulder competition on Saturday 8.11.2025! Kuomaboulder is a children's bouldering competition open to everyone - not only for members of the junior groups or those who have competed before, but for everyone in the age group!
The competition can be attended by children born 2012 or younger. The categories are for U10, U12 and U14. Each age category has a category for girls or an open category to choose from. There is room for 25 participants in each category. The competitions are held in the excellent children's gym at BK Flash in Espoo.

15 to 20 competition problems depending on the category
Scoring:
Each problem is worth 100 points. The points for each problem are divided among the ones who climbed the problem. For example, if three climbers have climbed it: 100p / 3 = 33.3p and so all three climbers get 33.3 points from that particular problem. In addition, extra points are given for flashing a problem with a multiplier of 1.5.

RegistrationRegistration via www.problemator.fi --> 'open mobile version'. After logging in, you can find the competition under the name ‘Kuomaboulder 2025’ on the home page under ‘active competitions’.
Each competitor must have their own credentials to Problemator. This means that two different children can't be registered to the competition with the same credentials.
The registration closes on Friday 7.11.2025 at 23.55.
Registration and marking of climbed routes takes place on the climber’s or parent’s smartphone via the Problemator website (pwa.problemator.fi). When calculating the points, you must use the same credentials that you used to register for the competition.
Note! Registration is only confirmed when the participation fee has been paid. The participation fee must be paid by the last day of registration, November 7. After registering, you will receive a payment link in your email (may go to spam).
Every competitor must belong to a member club under Finnish Climbing Association (SKIL). For example BK Climbers association.

Arriving at the gym
Boulderkeskus Espoo is easily accessible by public transport, car and bicycle. There are a few free parking spaces in the front yard of the hall, in the yard of Ramirent opposite the hall, and along the street.
Please leave your outerwear in the changing rooms. The changing rooms can be found on the right when entering the gym, after the store.
Other info
We ask parents to stay off the mattresses during the competition in order to avoid dangerous situations and crowding.
If you share competition photos or videos on social media, please share them with the hashtag #kuomaboulder2025. In addition, you can tag @boulderkeskus and @bkclimbers so we can share great competition performances!
Photos will be taken at the event, which may be used in the marketing of the Boulderkeskus or BK Climbers.
