TAKE OTHERS INTO CONSIDERATION: SAFE SPACE PRINCIPLES
Boulderkeskus is a discrimination free zone and a safe space - for everyone:
- Equality and respect for human rights are basic values in a safe space.
- Harassment, racism, hate speech and discrimination of any kind do not belong in climbing - or anywhere else.
- Consider and respect others as they are. We also respect everyone’s personal space, opinions and privacy. Let’s also keep from commenting on anyone’s bodies.
- Avoid making assumptions about others' sexuality, gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, values, health or anything else.
Please notify an employee immediately if the safe space instructions are violated. You can also intervene in the situation yourself, but we hope that the information about possible cases also reaches our employees.
No beta spray, please!
Beta spraying means giving advice without the other asking or hoping for it. In climbing, solving the problem can be the most fun part, and therefore advice is not always welcome. Let your fellow climber think about the beta in peace and solve the beta on their own. If you have a good tip that could be helpful, you can always ask if they want to hear it!
