BK CUP 2018
No year without a Boulder CUP! We decided to arrange for your – and our – pleasure an open bouldering competition that is suitable for everyone. So please welcome: BK CUP 2018!
The name of the game is to hold four comps, one in every BK gym. We will start the competitions, of course, from the first of our gyms, Pasila on March 24th. Next one will be held in Konala (26th of May). In Autumn will organise the third competition in Herttoniemi (1.9.) and the final event of the CUP will be held in BK’s newest gym in Espoo in November 17th. The last competition will have finals, otherwise we go with an open format.
BK CUP is open to everyone! The purpose is to organize great events which everyone enjoys and where everyone can join without hesitation. Whether you are a first-timer in competing or already a comp veteran, we are sure to offer you an great experience. Everyone – join us!
The categories in each competition are: men and women, boys and girls (16 and under) as well as senior men and super women (+40-year-olds). Routes are the same for everyone. BK CUP will be held together with BK Collective’s membership competitions, on the same routes. Members of the Collective can participate free of charge to the Collective CUP – as before – but incase they wish to participate in the open CUP, the same entry fee occurs as for everyone.
The prizes are great: winners of the following CUP categories: women, men, girls and boys will receive a travel or BK Shop gift voucher worth of 500€! The second and third places will receive their prize in the same format but worth 300€ and 150€. For the winners of the categories of senior men and superwomen we have reserved surprise prizes!
The ticket for all the four comps (the whole CUP) is 60€ and for an individual comp, the price is 20€/competition. The participants who buy the full-comp ticket are on the priority lane and are automatically entered to all the individual competitions. Registration is now available via the Problemator app: you will find the full-competition under the name BK CUP series.

In case you cannot participate in the climbing, you are always welcome to come and watch and cheer – without an entry fee, naturally!
Only paid enrollments guarantee access to the comps and the entry fee will only be refunded against a medical certificate from a doctor. The competitions are open for Finnish citizens and for non-citizens who are residents in Finland. We reserve the right to any changes in the events.
