There will be plenty of events for the coming weeks! We only just got through May Day and Mother's Day, and now it's already time for the BK CUP competition in Konala this Friday, the Finnish Junior Championships U11/U13/U15 in BK Espoo and Flash on 24.5 and of course much more!
Puistopartio is coming to BK Espoo!
The children's music band Puistopartio is coming to BK Espoo for a gig on the 15.6. and now tickets are for sale!!
Due to high demand, tickets for the Puistopartio gig are now available for purchase from the online store and at the cashier. Only with a pre-purchased ticket you can secure your place at the gig.
If advance tickets are sold out, it will not be possible to participate the event with other climbing tickets/serial cards/annual membership. We will inform you about this in advance.
Summer opening hours
During the summer, Boulderkeskus gyms will be open with shorter opening hours between June 1 and August 10, 2025. Of course, with a Premium card and yearly memberships, the doors are always open!

Pasila's Training Groups are going outdoor bouldering in May! ☀️😻
Here are the dates and crags:
🪨13.5. Taivaskallio, meeting spot: Keulamuuri
🪨25.5. Lintukallio, meeting spot: Keskikokoinen lintu
🪨27.5. Meilahti, meeting spot: Seaside sector
🪨3.6. Riistavuori, meeting spot: Main wall (extra session 3.6. to replace the cancelled session on 29.4.)

⏱️Time: from 17.00 to 19.00. Second session from 19.00 to 21.00
💰Price: 12 €/ time (on indoor sessions + entrance fee). The Training Group fee can be paid in advance at the cashier or in the webshop (>tickets).

🤸🏻♂️If you have a crash pad, please bring one along as well as your climbing shoes of course! The coach will bring some crash pads.

BK CUP 16.5.
BK CUP vol 3!!! Next comp is hosted by BK Konala on the 16.5. from 18 to 21! The sponsor is Lattice Training which means the prizes for this particular comp are gonna be 🔥🔥🔥
The routesetting will begin on Wednesday (14.5.), when the problems on the walls H+I+G+E (and possibly J) will be taken down. You can find these walls on the map below (they are marked with a pink circle). On Thursday and Friday, the routesetting team will be giving you their best and conjure up amazing competition boulders on the wall. Competitors will be able to climb them from 18:00 onwards on Friday, when the competition will be declared opened. Others will be able to enjoy the problems after the end of the competition at 21:00, but during the competition, we will reserve the boulders only for participants!
DJ is in da house and the atmosphere is surely going to be top notch. Let's see us in BK Konala on Friday!

Learn the basics of outdoor bouldering!
This course is aimed at all those climbers who want to start climbing safely on real rock. The upcoming courses are held at Taivaskallio in Käpylä where we will learn everything in practice.
With the guidance of our great professionals Ville or Tatu you'll learn how to climb outdoor safely, outdoor climbing ethics,how to read an outdoor boulder problem and the specifics of outdoor bouldering.
We have now courses for this spring:

Hello from BK Gyms!
The Finnish Junior Championships for U11/U13/U15 age groups will be held on Saturday 24th of May in BK Espoo and Flash. Routesetting happens from Tuesday until Friday! Espoo's walls K+L+M will be stripped down on Tuesday and BK Flash's walls on Wednesday or latest by Thursday. It means that during those days and until the evening of Saturday, BK Flash is not in use! The schedule of the competition has been updated today on the website. Schedules and other information about the competitions can be found here.
BK Espoo's store got a brighter look when the lighting was renewed last week! Now you can shop for the bold and the beautiful new Organic hoodies and t-shirts in fresh conditions!
In BK Herttoniemi, the air conditioning was fixed to an efficient condition so that our weapons in the fight against chalk dust are in the best possible shape. Small and large repairs and improvements are made in the gyms almost daily! Below you will find a link to the feedback form where you can suggest areas for improvement!
Climbing summer camps - still spots left!
Summer camps have still some spots left! This summer, camps are available in BK Espoo, Lauttasaari Kino, BK Konala and Herttoniemi. As a novelty, there will also be a three-day camp in August, just before the start of school!

Groups
BK Climbers junior groups climb weekly in Boulderkeskus' gyms until the end of May. More info on the groups and BK Climbers can be found on the BKC's website www.bkclimbers.com.
The gyms are occasionally visited by school groups, birthday parties and other groups. If you are coming with a large group, please contact the gym by phone or emailing info@boulderkeskus.com.
