Hello, dear BK friends!

Seems like autumn has finally arrived. In addition to courses (technique, bouldering basics), training groups and mobility classes, BK Climbers is organizing day camps for kids during the autumn break in October. Also, the kids' competition Kuomaboulder will be back in November! Read more below!

AUTUMN CAMPS COMING UP!

KUOMABOULDER climbing competition for kids

Boulderkeskus and BK Climbers proudly present the super fun Kuomaboulder climbing competition which will be held again this year on 9.11. at BK Flash!

In Kuomaboulder, all Mini, C and D aged juniors interested in competing get to test their skills in an excellent bouldering comp. You don’t have to climb in a youth group to participate!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PASILA’S CLIMBERS

Dear friends of BK Pasila!

Now there are some twists and turns, as a construction site unexpectedly closed most of the routes to the Pasila cave :(.

Discussions are ongoing with the construction company and hopefully we could manage another passage to be opened for us. But before that, we ask you to reserve a little more time for the journey! On the map you can see which roads are now closed. The construction has no effect on coming by car.
We're sorry for the inconvenience!

Company Christmas party at BK

Even though autumn is only beginning, now is a good time to make reservations for your company’s or even your friend group’s Christmas party!

At Boulderkeskus, we offer the perfect combo: first some climbing, guided or self-directed, and then a relaxing time at our sauna facilities in Espoo or Herttoniemi!

The club is going climbing outdoors!

Coming up: outdoor bouldering in good company, as BK Climbers’ outdoor climbing starts in September! There will be two outdoor bouldering sessions together with our BKC coach Paula and Timo. Pads come on behalf of the house, but you can also take yours if you have one.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never bouldered outdoors before: now you can safely explore the world of rock climbing! Coaches will give you tips and help you get started. NB! It’s not a beginner’s course, but an easy way to try it out! Club’s outdoor bouldering costs nothing, but it is intended for BK Climbers association’s members!

You can send a message with your phone number in advance to: paula.korkiamaki[a]outlook.com This way Paula and Timo can send more detailed instructions about the meeting place or possible last-minute matters through a Whatsapp group. You can also just show up if you want!

Places and times:

Lintukallio 22.9. at 12-15

Mikkelänkallio 29.9. at 12-15

Weather permitting of course: if it is too wet, the climbs will be postponed to 29.9. The locations can be found from the 27crags or you can ask for further details from Paula via email. Come and join!

Ps. under 18-year-olds are also welcome, but only with a guardian!
