Summer continues, even though the return to everyday life begins for many! Also for us: On the 10.8., the summer opening hours end, which means that you can climb again with a normal card first thing in the morning. Check out the opening hours of the gyms here! In addition, junior groups will start on 18 August. There is still room for more kids in the groups! Please read more below.

BK CUP 8.8. IN BK KONALA
Due to the sweet summer heat we made an executive decision to move next week’s BK CUP comp from BK Herttoniemi to the cool and fresh BK Konala! So, this summer’s hottest - but only vibe wise - comp is held on the 8.8. from 18 to 21 in BK Konala! No sweat and tears (we hope) but full on cranking - that’s for sure.
Come and top yourself out to the podium or if that’s not in the cards that day, why not win the lottery 🍀 We have some pretty special product prizes from chalk to t-shirts to a quality climbing backpack 🤩 We highly recommend you to join!
BK CUP in a nutshell
☀️ Comp problems go from fives to upper sevens and there's categories to choose from: one for those who max out at 6C, for those with some more climbing experience and a masters category for those with more life experience (aka lived years) under their belt. You can also put together your own team and come and climb together with your buddies!
☀️BK Cup is free of charge for BK Collective members and 13,5,€ for others (+ an entrance to the gym)
☀️ Great prizes for the best of all the categories in December in the last comp plus a raffle in each comp as well as a DJ aka live music to make life better!
☀️ Sign up beforehand in the Problemator web app. Please ask for help at the cashier if you’re not familiar with the app!
☀️ Comp routes are reserved for comp climbers during the competition but they are everyone’s game afterwards! The other parts of the gym are normally in use.

JUNIOR GROUPS ARE STARTING 18.8. - STILL SPOTS LEFT!
Join our junior climbing groups in the autumn! Registration for the autumn 2025 and spring 2026 seasons is now open for everyone! You can find our junior groups in BK Espoo, Herttoniemi, Konala and Kino, Lauttasaari. There are hobby groups for 6-8-year-olds, 9-12-year-olds and 13-16-year-olds! You can sign up for these even if you have no climbing experience yet!

PEDESTRIAN AND CYCLING PATH TO BK PASILA ARE OPEN AGAIN!
The access situation at BK Pasila improved in one fell swoop, as the underpass from Ratapihantie and the passage from Tripla to BK Pasila were opened!
BK Pasila can now be reached on foot and by bike from all familiar directions. A video of the underpass route has been recorded in the highlights of BK's Instagram account @Boulderkeskus

Kino's renewed spray wall, which has received a lot of really good feedback, is now also available in the Stökt app! By all means, go and try it out!
Our route planning master Antero went and cleaned BK Konala's Tension Board on Friday! We kindly ask you to show the holds some love and brush them often so that they stay as clean as possible for as long as possible!
Attention BK Konala visitors! This week, from Wednesday onwards, the gym has routesetting for the BK CUP competition! For Friday's comp routes, the walls will be emptied on Wednesday and new problems will be built on Thursday and Friday. The competition start at 18.00 and the routes are then available to the competitors. After the comp at 21.00 everyone can climb them.
