Important information about the BK Espoo and BK Flash opening hours during the week before the Finnish Bouldering Nationals

Finnish championships in bouldering are held soon and the week before will bring some changes in the opening of BK Espoo and BK Flash:

⚡ on Sunday 25.2. after 6 PM the routesetters will start stripping down the old problems from the competition walls (A - G)

⚡ From Monday until Thursday 26.-29.2. BK Flash is open normally and on BK Espoo’s side M + H - L walls are available for climbing as well as training walls (Kilter, Moonboard and the spraywall). Unfortunately the downstairs gym area is not available during the week.

⚡ On Friday and Saturday 1.-2.3. BK Flash ja BK Espoo ARE CLOSED! Only competitors and spectators are allowed (spectator tickets available in the webshop) Only competitors get to climb on Friday and Saturday.
OBS! Competitors are not allowed in the gym during the competition week before the qualifiers.

⚡On Sunday 3.3. the gyms are open normally again! Welcome!

Get spectator tickets for the Finnish Bouldering Championships

Come and enjoy the most amazing Finnish Nationals in bouldering!

BK Espoo's gym is optimally designed for organising competitions and also, of course, so that it offers great facilities for spectators.

It’s going to be a great spectacle on exciting problems created by our talented routesetting team. Our headsetter for the comp is a Polish superstar Olga Niemiec @olga_niemiec ! We are also getting brand new holds for the competitors to puzzle over. Exciting both for competitors and spectators!

Entry fee for spectators is 15€. Junior ticket for 15 year-olds and younger is 10€. With a ticket, you can watch on Saturday 2.3. the semi-finals and finals.

We have some great news for you friends, this summer we get to say hi to... * drum roll*... BK KONALA 2.0!

The classic of Ruosilantie, Boulderkeskus Konala was founded more than a decade ago, and it has a special place in the hearts of many climbers. An opportunity opened recently that we couldn't pass: we acquired new spaces at the same property and we will be able to carry out a renovation and expansion worthy of BK Konala!

There will be significant improvements:
⚡Mattresses and gym lighting will be completely renewed
⚡We are building bigger and better gym facilities for warming up and for additional training
⚡Children and beginners get their own space where they can climb safely and on problems that suit them specifically. In this way, the junior groups also get to climb in peace.
⚡In addition, we will get completely new dressing room facilities and a store
⚡The most iconic walls like the globe, the tube, the bow tie and middle shape with the top out will be saved
⚡There are also plans to add a training wall to the selection! Moonboard, Kilter, Tension board...which board would you prefer? Write a comment below, vote on Instagram or send a message to inbox or messenger!

BK CUP in Pasila on March 8th

Comps comps comps! Just a week after the Nationals it’s time for another comp: BK CUP in Pasila on March 8th! Come enjoy the comp problems and have a good time with friends starting from 18.00.

Remember that this year there are a few changes in the comp:

Flashes matter! Flash a problem and you get more points.
The categories are “women” and “open” so that everyone can participate in the comp comfortably.

BK CUP is a competition open to everyone, where annual members compete for free and other climbers for a small fee of 10 euros (+entrance)! The prizes are epic: the best will win an annual membership and great prizes will be drawn among all participants!
Everyone is welcome - you don't have to be an experienced competition champion to participate.

Duo pass offer: 2 months of climbing with a great discount!

In honour of the upcoming Valentine's Day, we have a great Duo pass offer: 2 months of climbing for 136€ (norm. 150€) !!!

Love and friendships are too important to be celebrated only one day a year - so let's enjoy it properly! The Duo Pass aka two months of climbing, works either so that you and a friend buy the Duo Pass together and get one month each, in which case the monthly price will be 68€ per person OR you can also buy yourself two months of climbing in a row. You can also get the card as Premium for 160€ / 2 months (instead of paying 178€).

The offer is valid until the end of February! Even if your current monthly card is still valid, you can also buy a Duo Pass in advance and continue to use your monthly card at cheaper prices after the current card expires. Only available at the shops.
